Bonsai is a centuries-old art form highlighting the hard-earned beauty of the plant kingdom with a focus on balance, proportion, and gesture.

In this workshop, you'll learn the foundational techniques of bonsai cultivation and design. You will pot up a starter ficus tree into fresh soil in a traditional pot as you embark on an adventure into a relationship with your new tree.

Presented in collaboration with the Bonsai Club of Utah. Draper’s class instructor is Shane Otvos.

Cost: $90 includes lecture, ficus bonsai, and supplies.
